About Monica Verinder

A Louisiana native motivated by a lifelong belief of people first, Monica Verinder brings a unique “gumbo” of business acumen, marketing savvy and genuine interest for her clients and customers.  A perpetual "go getter" - Monica has worked with hundereds of local homeowner's - exceeding $250M in sales.  She consistently is recognized as one of the top 100 Coldwell Banker agents in Florida, top 1% of agents internationally and ranks in the top 25 agents in Sarasota and Manatee counties.  

A graduate of Louisiana State University, Monica’s Bachelor of Arts & Sciences degree in News Editorial Journalism prepared her with excellent investigative, listening and communication skills – key traits of a successful realtor.

Monica entered real estate after a successful career in financial services, spending over 20 years as Vice President of Marketing and Public Relations for large regional and national banks such as First Commerce Corporation, Hancock Bank and JP Morgan Chase. Her vast knowledge of lending, marketing, insurance and local market contacts makes her a valuable asset to her clients considering a purchase or sale. But her dedication to exceeding her client’s expectations can only be described in one word – unparalleled. Her hard work and consummate ability to build relationships was recognized immediately as she was awarded the title of Rookie of the Year in 2014.

A resident of Lakewood Ranch, Bird Key & Longboat Key for the past 20 years, her expertise in the luxury residential market encompasses multiple areas – from Downtown and West of Trail to East County – Siesta to Longboat – beaches to golf communities. Endorsed by both clients as well as peers, she is honored by consistent referrals as well as lifelong friendships.

Monica is married to David and has two daughters. Having had both parents as well as children in the community, she offers her clients invaluable knowledge of the area’s arts, education opportunities, recreation, and services - critical for those relocating to the Suncoast.

With a focus on volunteerism, Monica dedicates her time to Sarasota Memorial Healthcare Foundation, Junior Achievement and Country Club Shores HOA.  Past involvement included Sarasota Youth Orchestra’s Debutante Committee, Key to the Cure, Cardinal Mooney High School and Sarasota Yacht Club’s Parents Committee. Monica was also a former board member of local PTO’s at the elementary and middle school levels, a member and instructor of the Bank Marketing Association and a member of the Junior League. She enjoys entertaining and interior design as well as boating and fishing the beautiful waters of Sarasota Bay.
